Deaconess Kate Nkechinyere Ezeanya

Deaconess Kate Nkechinyere Ezeanya is a result-driven professional with over 22 years of experience in training, workforce development, logistics, protocol, and community relations. She currently serves as a Supervisor in Training and Manpower Development at the NNPC Engineering and Technical Company Limited (NETCO), a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), in Lagos, Nigeria, where she champions excellence, innovation, and people development.


Kate holds a Master’s degree in International Relations & Strategic Studies, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literary Studies.
An ordained Deaconess at RCCG City of David Parish, she actively serves in the Publications and Social Actions Department, engaging in prison and street ministry with a passion for soul-winning and kingdom advancement.


A retired but vibrant squash player, she held the title of best female in her industry for over a decade and earned medals in 4×4 relays and marathons.

Kate is also a skilled negotiator, public speaker, and strict disciplinarian with a keen eye for quality and attention to detail.

Funmilola Ogunro

Funmilola Ogunro is the Founder and Executive Director of Friends of the Deaf International Foundation (FDF), a visionary nonprofit dedicated to empowering children and youth with disabilities. A seasoned special educator with nearly a decade of experience, she has been instrumental in advancing Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education) and 10 (Reduced Inequalities) within underserved communities.


Driven by compassion and conviction, Funmi established FDF Academy, a low-cost, inclusive school in Adamo, Ikorodu, Lagos State of Nigeria, where she currently serves over 100 indigent children and youth with special needs. Her work reflects a deep commitment to equity, access, and dignity for every learner.


A devoted wife and mother of three boys, Funmi is also a sign language interpreter at her local church, RCCG Christ the Lord Parish, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, where she ministers to deaf brethren with grace and empathy. She has led numerous vocational training programs tailored for the deaf community, equipping them with practical skills and renewed hope.


God-fearing and passionate about every good work, Funmilola Ogunro embodies the spirit of servant leadership. Her life is a radiant blend of advocacy, education, and ministry—transforming lives and building bridges of inclusion wherever she goes.
